Jesus transforms Lives

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will know my Father also."

John 14:6-7

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is God made man, the image of the Father, the Word of God made flesh. He calls each one of us by name to an intimate and personal friendship with Him. Encountering Jesus, coming closer to him and entering this friendship, has the power to transform your life! Jesus sets us free from sin and death and shows us the way to everlasting life in happiness with the Father

Our mission as a diocese is to bring people into this relationship with Jesus Christ through His One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. We want to bring people closer to Jesus in every aspect of our work. We want to teach people about Him, to connect people with communities and parishes focused on Him, and to reach out to those who have never heard about Him.

Please consider supporting our work financially, so that we can bring the saving message and Good News of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.

What will I be supporting?

Training Future Priests

Without priests, the Church would be without the Sacraments: there would be no Church at all. We are blessed to have fourteen men currently in formation for the priesthood, who have generously given their lives in response to God's call. It costs £85 per day, (£30,000 a year) to train one seminarian, and priestly formation can take up to seven years.

If you would like to ensure the future of the Church in our Diocese, please consider donating to our special appeal for vocations. Visit our vocations page to find out more about training for the priesthood.
