Catholic Youth Ministry Leader - Reading 

Following collaboration between parish communities in Reading and as a direct result of the Living Our Faith funds, we now wish to appoint a:

 Catholic Youth Ministry Leader.

Salary scale : £20,000 - £24,000 (depending on level of experience/skills/qualification.)

The successful applicant will reach out to young people and develop Catholic youth ministry in Reading and the surrounding area.

The successful candidate will:

• be a committed Catholic
• be experienced in Catholic youth ministry and ideally, hold a relevant youth worker qualification
• be able to take on a leadership role with volunteers for the parishes in developing our youth ministry
• have excellent creative and communication skills
• be a natural networker, who is able make a positive impact within these vibrant and diverse communities
• be dedicated to young people; their spiritual and human development.

This post is full-time (including regular evening work and weekends) and carries an initial 3-year contract.

The postholder will receive a thorough induction and regular supervision as part of the support from the management group. There will be opportunities for relevant professional development and training.
