Speaking of his appointment, Mgr Jeremy said "I am delighted to have been asked to become Rector of Wonersh, it is a big challenge and I am looking forward to it. I will certainly miss the Diocese of Portsmouth and the people of my parish of Petersfield. Fortunately I won't be too far away so I will be able to keep in contact"
Bishop Crispian said "The Diocese is honoured that Jeremy has been chosen to become Rector of Wonersh and I am sure he is the right man for the job. The diocese will miss him, and I will miss him as a valued colleague, as a confidant and as a friend. I wish him every blessing in the task he is undertaking".
