On the first day of the Diocesan Pastoral Assembly, Nicky Stevens, Head of Department for Pastoral Formation, set each of the eight sections into the context of Society, the Church and the overall Pastoral Plan. On Friday 22 July, Fr Paul Townsend EpV reflected more deeply on the centrality of the Eucharist; Mgr John Nelson VG, Moderator of the Curia, explored the concept of larger Pastoral Areas and Stephen Morgan, Head of Department for Finance and Property spoke about the importance of the Stewardship of our God-given time, talents and treasures.

Their insights and commentaries are included with the relevant section to help to set it in context and open it up to further thought.
