Advisor for Youth Ministry - Dave Hill

Hello, my name is Dave Hill and I am the Advisor for Youth Ministry, working within the Department for Pastoral Formation.
 
My main responsibilities are:
  • To develop an approach  for the inclusion of young people in the life of the Church today, so that they might “Go Out and Bear Fruit” by sharing their time, talents and treasure with each other, the parish family and the wider community.
  • Support for, and resourcing of, preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation
  • Initial and ongoing support and training of those involved in ministry with young people
  • Developing area groups for those working with young people for prayer, sharing of ideas and resources, networking and support.
