In 2009 the diocese ordained two new priests, Pat Madden and Paul Leonard, and three permanent deacons, Gerard Dailly, John di Meo and Peter Silsbury.

In addition, two of our seminarians in Rome, Phillip Harris and James McAuley, were ordained transitional deacons. They will be ordained priests in St John's Cathedral on Saturday 24 July 2010.

Peter Holiingsworth is due to be ordained a permanent deacon in St John's Cathedral on Sunday 4 July 2010.
