Prayer and Spirituality
Prayer is central to our ability to flourish as God created us to. It enables us to open ourselves daily to the life of God within us and around us. Without a regular practice of prayer, it is easy to forget that it is in God that ‘we live and move and have our being’ (Acts 17:28).
Often, though, it is difficult to know quite how to pray. Or we may feel that our prayer life has become stale rather than life-giving.

The Spirituality Development Group of the diocese exists to encourage personal prayer, retreats, spiritual direction and other aspects of the spiritual life. Click here to see more about its range of interests and the membership. Members of the group are happy to be contacted.
