Marriage Preparation: Ascot

Dan & Anne Hill run the marriage prep for St Francis, Ascot .

We have been doing so for 8 yrs.  We usually run only one course per year, takes place during lent. This year we are doing one again now. So if there is enough demand we run another.  Our course is 5 sessions, Usually 2 Monday evenings in a row then all day a following Sat.   We adopted a course but have  updated it significantly.

The last few years we prepared 7-9 couples per year.  The parish priest sends those who can't make to marriage care.

Session 1      Introduction & Love, Value and Affirm

Session 2      Communication, Conflict and Forgiveness

Session 3      Theology for the Body- God's Plan for our Sexuality

Session 4      Fertility Awareness-Natural Fertility Management

Session 5      Marriage as a Sacrament- Your Wedding Vows

There is a real need to have a proper  orthodox Roman Catholic  program which contains Theology of the Body, dignity of the human person and Natural Family Planning.  Many are surprised how wonderful and liberating the truth really is.
