Prayer has been integral to the whole process that led to the development of the Pastoral Plan, "Go Out and Bear Fruit" and the creation of the new Pastoral Areas.

Praying together is one of the best ways in which we can build the new relationships that will help us better to live out our call to Communion and Mission.

IDEAS

bullet Parishes could  circulate details of regular prayer services with the Pastoral Area.
bullet Create a rota so that there is prayer before the Blessed Sacrament somewhere in the Pastoral Area everyday.
bullet Groups using the same or similar forms of prayer (e.g. Rosary, meditation, charismatic groups) could come together occasionally for shared prayer followed by a time to chat over refreshments.
bullet Alongside are ideas for liturgies that could bring praying communities together - encourage people from the different communities to prepare them.
bullet Arrange regular penitential and healing services for the Pastoral Area
