Fr. Ansel D’Mello as Assistant Priest to the Cathedral
Fr. Robert Stewart as Assistant Priest to St. Edmund’s, Abingdon
Fr John Lavers will become Parish Priest of St. Anne and St. Mary Magdalen, Alderney. I am especially grateful to him for this as it enables the community of Alderney to have a full-time resident priest. Meanwhile, my gratitude to Canon Michael Hore and the clergy of Guernsey for their ministry there these last years.
In the autumn, Fr. Tom Grufferty will move from Christchurch and ‘change status.’ My thanks to him for all his good work as parish priest and as the Coordinating Pastor and Dean. After a short sabbatical, he will live in Gosport and take up a new role as Chaplain to the Heads and Principals of our schools. He will also assist the priests of the Solent Pastoral Area.
Please welcome Fr Paul Rowan, a priest of the Archdiocese of Liverpool, who is a teacher and member of the Senior Leadership Team of Beaulieu Convent School, Jersey.
Fr Liam Cummins, a Mill Hill Missionary, will become the Parish Priest of St. Edmund Campion, Maidenhead. Fr. Liam will arrive on 1st October. I am delighted that the Mill Hill Missionaries, who have their base in Maidenhead, will be responsible for a local parish and they will surely bring their charism and energy for the new evangelisation, in succession to Fr. Pepe Claveria.
We welcome Fr Luca Speziale and Fr Raffaele Cossa to St. John Bosco, Woodley. They will be 'parochial administrators' under Canon Michael Dennehy, Vicar General, as parish priest. These two priests belong to ‘Communion and Liberation’ (Fraternity of St. Charles) to which Fr. Pepe Claveria belongs and who leaves soon for a new appointment at Sacred Heart, Milan. We are full of gratitude to Fr. Bonaventure for all his work in Woodley and we wish him God’s blessings as he returns to Bamenda.
Deacon Stephen Morgan to assist Fr James Bradley in the parish of the Holy Family, Millbrook (in addition to his role as Diocesan Financial Secretary.)

We welcome to Sacred Heart Bournemouth Fr. Dominic Jacobs (CongOrat) and Fr. Peter Edwards (Southwark), together with postulant members Wojtek Rudnicki and Kari Hinktikka, as the Oratory in Formation, assuring them of our prayers.
