Opus Dei is an international Personal Prelature which seeks to spread a greater awareness of the universal call to sanctity and apostolate throughout all levels of society in the course of everyday work. It is composed of a Prelate with his own clergy, and of lay people who by virtue of their divine vocation freely join the Prelature.
