A national organisation, whose object it is to take children aged 7 to 18 years who suffer from various forms of physical or mental disability on a one week pilgrimage to Lourdes. The pilgrimage starts on Easter Sunday and is for the spiritual benefit of all participants. The whole pilgrimage of approximately 5000 people is made up of small family groups of 20 to 30 people, 8 to 10 children and 10 to 20 helpers, including a priest chaplain, a nurse and sometimes a doctor.
