Catholic Women's League
Data on this page is provided for information purposes only and the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth is not responsible for its accuracy.
Have you thought of becoming a member of the League? Did you know that it was founded for the 'promotion of religious, educational and social welfare'? That covers a lot more in today's organisation, suitably updated, on an international, national and diocesan level. It is also a source of great friendship, spiritual activities - pilgrimage, prayer days and charitable/social activities - throughout the country and abroad. This includes an Annual Council attended by over 1,000 members, as well as diocesan and parish events. Aiming to bring together as one voice Catholic and Christian women speaking up on social and moral issues, it helps make the impact so necessary in today's world. Supporting our clergy and those in need at parish, local, diocesan, national and international level it also links together its members in a special bond. Would you like to join, maybe even start a group (section)? Help, both financial and practical, is available. For more information do give one of our Branch Officers a ring and they will be delighted to help.
