Spirituality Development Group

The ancient Christian tradition of spiritual direction has undergone a considerable revival in recent years. More and more people are seeking such spiritual accompaniment and a considerable number of men and women are discovering that they have been given a gift of accompanying others in their individual journey of faith, and have refined that gift through training. A list of such people is now held by the Spirituality Development Group in the Diocese. However, spiritual direction is a very personal ministry, so any initial meeting should be exploratory, and those responsible for the list cannot be held responsible for outcomes, although it is to be hoped that these will be overwhelmingly positive.
